Not soon enough

We have dangerous matchbox cars that barely get 40mpg. They have SUVs that get 45mpg.

I want what the folks at the other table are having.

Hey, Don!

I'm winding up a trip that will have covered 4,000 miles in 3 weeks in a rented Prius - 2008 model. Solid 50 miles per gallon in all types of driving; max on a single tank was 68 mpg (strong tail wind!); lowest around 40 on the NJ turnpike (vicious head wind - the car seems more sensitive to wind than hills).

Awesome, bro!

"...strong tail wind..." Is it cheating to use wind power to improve hybrid performance? LOL. Surprised with all the battery weight and aerodynamics that wind would be a factor. Interesting...will have to hear more. Are you blogging your trip?
