Note that the failure of the models to predict the cessation of warming in the mid 90's (except for a bump associated with a major El Nino event in 1998), does not disprove the possibility of significant anthropogenic warming. What it does disprove is the claim that the data provides evidence that recent warming is mostly due to man.
